Mini SAS High Density (HD) is the newest member of Serial Attached SCSI interconnect family. External 4x HD Mini-SAS to HD Mini-SAS (SFF-8644 to SFF-8644) Cables are thoroughly tested at 12.0 Gbps wire lane speeds prior to shipment; ensuring 100% compatibility with SAS 2.1 and new SAS 3.0 specifications. The exclusive Spectra-Strip triple shielded parallel-pair wire guarantees sustained data-rates up to 12.0 Gbps per lane, reduced signal loss and improved cross-talk performance over competing wire technologies. This 4x HD Mini-SAS cable features universal keyed SFF-8644 pull to release lanyard connectors that are fully intermateabie with any manufacturers 4x iPass+ HD (Mini-SAS HD) receptacle ports.All Mini SAS HD connectors have 4-channels, and are capable of connecting 4 devices and can fan-out to single channel connections.

Due to our technological lead on high-speed over copper, our HD Mini-SAS cable assemblies are thinner (i.e. 30 AWG) and more flexible than competing HD Mini-SAS products -- providing convenient routing options and improved airflow while exceeding the performance parameters of a thicker grade cable (i.e. 28 AWG). 1m (3.3) length. Also available in 2m (6.6) and 3m (9.8) lengths. This new system extends passive cable distances to 20 meters, greatly increasing the length and bandwidth of standard Mini SAS cables.
